SA: Vigil tonight in support of Hicks

Supporters of Australian terror suspect DAVID HICKS will stage a candle-lit vigil tonight
.. calling for him to be brought home.

HICKS' military lawyer Major MICHAEL MORI will speak to the gathering in Adelaide ..

along with HICKS' father .. TERRY.

There'll also be a march to the Adelaide ministerial office of Foreign Minister ALEXANDER
DOWNER .. to present him with a petition of almost 50 thousand signatures calling for
the government to bring HICKS back from Guantanamo Bay.

HICKS has been in US custody in Cuba since January 2002 .. after being captured fighting
among Taliban forces in Afghanistan.

He's been charged with aiding the enemy .. attempted murder .. and conspiracy.
