Qld: Sir Joh to go home Monday
Former Queensland Premier Sir JOH BJELKE-PETERSEN is to return to his Kingaroy hometomorrow after more than a week in Brisbane's Wesley Hospital.
The man who led the sunshine state for an unprecedented 19 years was flown from Kingaroyto Brisbane on Easter Thursday, complaining of severe back and shoulder pain.
But Sir JOH'S wife Lady FLO today says her 91-year-old husband is doing very well.
He underwent several tests while in hospital and Lady FLO says doctors orders werefor Sir JOH to get plenty of rest when he got home, to Bethany.
Earlier Sir JOH'S son JOHN said doctors had linked the former National Party leader'slatest medical problems to his Parkinson's disease.
