Jan. 26--Williston-Elko High School's football team shocked many prep football enthusiasts with its fast start to the 2008 season, which ended with a berth in the Class A Division II state title game. The Blue Devils' boys' basketball team, which struggled at the start of the season, seems to have a similar knack for a surprising uprising.

Losers of five of its first seven games, coach Devin Liferidge has led the Blue Devils to wins in six of their last eight games heading into tonight's non-region game against Midland Valley High School.
