Qld: Two men charged over lifeguard assault

BRISBANE, April 18 AAP - Two men were today charged with assaulting a lifeguard on
the Gold Coast.

Police said a 23-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were charged with assault occasioning
bodily harm after their alleged attack on the Mermaid Beach lifeguard on Friday.

Both men were released on bail to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on May 4.
